46th Jírovec's Protozoological Days
The meeting is organized by the members of Protozoological
section of the Czech Society for Parasitology.
In 2016, our traditional Czech conference will take place in
hotel "Rumburak", which is
located close to the castle Bítov.
Accommodation: available rooms
can be divided into two categories: Directly in Rumburak (56 beds) and not so
far from Rumburak (rest). All rooms are very nice and comfortable (with
private bathroom in both "hotels") with 2, 3 or 4 beds. The price for one
night for one person is always CZK 400. As usually You can choose Your
roomate(s). If You will stay directly in Rumburak or not will depend on the
order of Your application.
Posters and talks should be in English; A0 is the recommended poster size, 20
minutes is the time limit for talks including the discussion.
Abstracts must be submitted in English, they will be published in a conference
book.
Conference fees. Select a proper value from the list in the registration form,
please. All payments (conference fee, accommodation, food and CPS membership
fee) will be made only in cash at your arrival. There is no close cash
machine! Select your preferred meal carefully during the on-line registration.
Undergraduate students who want their travel and accommodation expenditures
refunded from the Czech Society for Parasitology (CPS) have to be members of
the CPS and they have to participate actively (present a poster or a talk). It
is possible that the refundation will be less than 100%.
As usual, the final program will be available a week or so before the
conference. We suppose, however, that the general timetable will remain
typical: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning dedicated to talks and
posters, Wednesday afternoon to a trip. No talks on Monday / Friday.
This year will be slightly different than previous years. I am very proud to
introduce You two protistologists: Mark Field (University of Dundee, UK) and
Romain Derelle (Université Paris-Sud, France) as our guests. Both of them were
very kind and agreed to join in our conference with very interesting talks.

March 8), you will receive a confirmation e-mail. If not, please contact me

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: fill in the registration form until March 20.
